Same, I always thought Batman was dumb as a kid because he had no real super powers and ANYONE on the justice league could probably kick his booty.

But now that I'm older I like Batman a lot more.

I practically watched the 1990's Batman religiously as a kid, and had an awesome aneurysm explosion when I caught wind of Batman Beyond.

And the #1 reason why Batman:TAS was awesome was because of Mark Hamill.

God daisies.
Wayne Knight is one of my favourite actors of all time.

I have always loved Batman because it had the most interesting villains in all of the DC Universe.

He's a hero with weaknesses. That's what makes him so likable.

So we aren't counting Kryptonite, the color yellow, or fire as weaknesses because...

I recently picked up John Constantine: Hellblazer. It is one of my favorite comic book series now.
Also, the newest issue of Batman is pretty sweet. He's going to have to face off against an old organization that has basically run Gotham from the shadows for ages.

Because kryptonite is bullshit that was pulled out of a writer's booty so Superman doesn't appear godlike all the time. Just most of the time. The color yellow is just weird. And fire isn't so much a weakness as it is painful death.

Well, let's call those kinds of weakness 'Kryptonites.'
Because they are nearly completely debilitating the characters when encountered.
Batman is a 'normal' human, so he doesn't have a weakness that is customized just for him and stops him in his tracks.

In the comic books, Green Lanterns are not weak to the color yellow any more.

Darn, so you mean I can't pelt Hal Jordan with lemons while laughing manically?

Technically Green Lanterns are weak to yellow so long as their fear overcomes their willpower, and Hal Jordan is a pansy, so yeah you could.

Well, that puts a bit of a crimp on my plan to go the the DCU and get the power to change the color of stuff. Then make everything yellow and take all the rings.

One of the things I like about Batman is how majority of his enemies are psychotic evil, but not superpowerful evil. So he spends all his time dealing with them, learning about them in the process, putting them in Arkham Asylum which they break out of in no time flat, all while trying to maintain his own sanity. If he ever breaks then Gotham and a good bit of the world is done for.

And not really Seth. Just change the ring itself to yellow and Hal's fucked.
