I have to admit, I really dislike CGI shows. I feel like the animation is cheap, because CGI can achieve such fantastic things yet these shows only cover the bare bones. It's like the difference between Cartoon Network's 6teen and survival island shows using Flash, and MLP and Wakfu's use of Flash. The Star Wars one has been the only one in recent history that I haven't disliked (but I do not watch it, just not much interest).

(In case anyone brings it up, I don't count Reboot in this because it was really fantastic for its time and the CGI fit the theme of the show.)

The Aquabats are a band. They have a show on The Hub. And it is super.

I am getting more and more excited for The Legend of Korra.

Mostly because of Bolin.

So all 13 seasons of King of the Hill are on Netflix instant

Just finished up season 1; why did it take me this long to actually watch the show with any sort of consistency?

Mako and Bolin. Brothers who grew up in Republic City from a multi-cultural family. Mako is a firebender, Bolin is an earthbender.

While they're both seem pretty cool, I really already like Bolin best.

it always bugged me the way lauren faust said the boners aren't meant to have races but then the only zebra in the show is african and all the daisies buffalo are native american

and then like

all the white fans make themselves boners and all the blacks make themselves zebras

someone's messed up somewhere

completely seconded

you can't just say none of the boners have a coded race, but then make a completely seperate species clearly coded as black/native american, and still expect people not to see the boners as the White People of the pony-verse

plus there's also the kinda of really awful thing of saying that people that aren't white have to be a different species entirely is kinda really problematic

but if you say this to a heretic, 90% of the time they'll just say you're being "oversensitive". I mean its not like non-white people were ever treated as a different species before IRL!... oh wait.

related:
http://pastebin.com/uZzMWqWm
and argument in a skype group im in about the exact same thing

notice how the heretics are really bad at replying with anything other than "because boners" and "because zebra(implying that wasnt the fucking problem)"
