We both had an evil zombie Uncle Ben idea.

How is this possible?

Of Peter Parker.

So that explains why my bedsheets are covered with webs when I wake up in the morning.

I missed most of Ben 10: Alien Force first time around and I'm just now catching it on CN.

I don't know how much hate there is for Ben 10 (for whatever reason) but I find it quite enjoyable - especially in the later series when Kevin Levin has a bigger role.

Kevin is great.

For me, it just got redundant and felt like it strayed too much from the original.

It's a kid with a watch that turns him into one of ten aliens with superpowers.
How do you stray from that?

A lot of the characters lost their old personalities. Alien force was okay, but everything after the first season of it felt unnecessary. But CN needs it because they don't have many other action shows.

What would you guys do to improve the comic book industry? It's a shadow of its former self right now, so I want to know, what would you do to bring comic books back into the fold of popular media?

I would institute a subscription-based system that would eliminate the need to go to a book store or comic shop. The website would have exclusive content, such as interviews with writers, filmmakers, artists, animators, and even include early access to certain series. Efficiency is one of the reasons we decide to use a service, so this system would allow for easy browsing and a simplistic layout. Streamlined for tablets and phones, as well as regular desktops and laptops.

I would assign characters to one single writer and tell them if they even think of anything remotely resembling a retcon they would be fired with extreme prejudice.

Female characters now mandated to have personalities that do not solely involve sex appeal.

Resurrections limited to one per character and it better be a daisies good explanation.

Superman and any other of his ilk locked in a kryptonite coffin and dropped into the Marianas Trench.

Also, I'd like to see some new stories drawn and inked like the Golden Age comics were.

I love that kind of shit.

Kevin is great.

The original series was a bit too kiddish for me, but Alien Force was both a step forward and a step back. Kevin was great, but Ben was way too "perfect" from the first series. Ultimate alien has made him into more of a self-centered jerk booty to combat that, and he's once again too much of an asshole for my liking.

Also, Gwen's in a love-hate area for me, since she seems to be marginalized an awful lot, and besides Kevin, she's the most interesting character on the show, even if she suffers a bit from having artificial flaws.

Overall, it's not a bad show, but there's other things I'd rather watch.
