It's fine, but the way the chanting slowly creeps up on you and fades out sharply scares the piss out of me.

To be honest I'm kinda glad they didn't include it because it doesn't really sound like it fit at all with the game. I have to agree though, the fading is really creepy. If it wasn't so echoed I don't think it would be that bad, but the end of the chat when it fades out really creeps me out.

Then again there were moments where OoT freaked me out even when I was playing it for the first time at 14 so whatever

This.
I have played and beaten nearly every Silent Hill game, and I haven't been scared once, but when I played OoT on the Virtual Console, and got to the Dead Hand Miniboss...
Just no

That fire temple music isn't so much creepy as it is annoying. Awful, even. I don't see why muslims would have been offended by it besides it being a terrible interpretation of what their music actually sounds like.

You know that ringing sound that you will perceive when you are in a very quiet area? Some people say this is an auditory-illusion brought about the ear’s inability to detect frequencies below the threshold of the human senses. This is completely wrong. That ringing covers up something else altogether. If you are quick, patient, and maybe a little lucky, you will be able to hear past the ringing. What you will hear are voices whispering to each other. They will silence themselves quickly but with practice, you will become more adept at catching and interpreting what they are saying. You will hear things of the past, the present, and the future. However, you must be careful. Because there is no such thing as a voice without a body.

And when you start noticing them, they will start noticing you.

As soon as I read that sentence my ears started ringing like a bad phone ringtone. Just for that, you're now manually breathing...you're also aware of your clothes touching your skin.

Enjoy.

Alright so, last night I watched about 4 hours of a game called LSD: Dream Emulator (and no it doesn't stand for the drug)...and I had to sleep with the lights on last night.

It's hard to explain. At first it's not all the creepy or disturbing, but as you play the more messed up the textures get and the more crazy the music gets. It just puts your mind into this lulled state of being scared of everything. I was too scared to turn out the lights so I just left them on.

Oh man I love that game.

Did you see the part where he woke up and sleep-played it in the middle of the night? Shit's crazy, yo.
