They got rid of all the filler. I forgot if they did the Fake Namek episode, though. Overall I'm glad they shortened it. But what sucks is that they're going to air Dragonball GT. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

DO THEY STILL HAVE THE DRIVING TEST EPISODE?
THAT IS ALL I CARE ABOUT.

Even if you got rid of all the filler there's still the matter of how much was packed into Namek. DBZ the Abridged series has taken a few episodes and also cut out the filler. So that means Kai took out more than the filler, it cut into the actual storyline.

I don't know. I only watched up to the Frieza Saga, because that's before it got ridiculous IMO.
And I remember the Kai Namek Saga covering all the plot points.

How about we continue this in the anime thread?

I really wish that Wakfu would get a western localization.

I dislike the Dragonball and DBZ anime for the simple reason that there are 85 manga volumes, which chronicle all of Dragonball and Dragonball Z. In comparison there are 153 episodes of Dragonball and 291 episodes of Dragonball Z.

I understand that you can't do an animation at the same pace as a manga/comic. But frankly, this is ridiculous, even with filler.

The -trip- to namek only took two episodes, not the entirety of namek.

Does anyone read Invincible? I think it's the best mainstream comic out right now.

It was interesting.

Seeing young Granny Smith was cool, but the whole Zap Apple thing seemed kind of dumb to me.

Also, ANOTHER EPISODE with no friendship report. It would have been so easy to say "Dear Princess Celestia, today I learned that your family is very important. Your Loyal Subject, Apple Bloom"

Also I'm still waiting for my Fluttershy episode.

What if Twilight is actually a human girl in a coma, and the rest of the main cast are her friends reading stories to her, and those stories are the episodes?
