King of the hill is one of my favorite cartoons. The character interactions are some of the best I've seen in a cartoon like it.

It's more down-to-earth and doesn't overuse stereotypes too much.
It also doesn't flaunt it's "artistic style" or crude humor like most adult cartoons do.
The fact that it's hand drawn makes it even better.

So I guess the Thundercats episode where Panthro loses his arms is the last in the first season?

The episode where Lion-O experiences the past through the Book of Omens was my favourite so far; some interesting ideas in there.

Yeah, that was the season finale. He'll prolly get a pair of robot arms in the next season.

Comic Update.
The Leviathan Strikes comic, Batman Inc shocked me, since immediately after that shitty Tron ripoff, we actually have something interesting going on, with a good story and good art- though it makes a lot of call backs to issues I haven't gotten to read, so it's not the best jumping on point. It calls itself a one-shot, which annoys me, since its both starting from where the story had been going, and ends with a "to be continued" nitpicking there, but that's really a pet peeve of mine- a one shot should be basically a stand alone story that fits in loosely if at all with things happening in other comics. Its an extra large issue split into a couple chapters, the first story featuring batgirl is probably the strongest, but there all good.

To anyone else reading these- I was told that The Question has appeared in some of these- and after she lost her solo comic a while back right when i discovered the character, i've been searching for whatever she'd be in. Any idea if she'll be returning to this series? I'm told Batman Inc goes unaffected by other changes in continuity, so I'm remaining hopeful.

The new huntress miniseries is really good- those it seems odd that its following a very similar plot to The Question TPB that came out a year or so ago... I mean, maybe its just that both start the same way- but its just... odd coincidences.

In related news
Becuase I miss Justice League and Teen Titans I'm giving young Justice a chance. Just watched the first two episodes so far. Wish they could have got some of the standby DC voice actors other than Manhunter. Also- I know this isn't the exact same continuity as Justice League, but when Batman says "I've had my suspicions about CADMUS" I couldn't help but go "Well, duh, I remember when you you snuck into the directors bathroom." Seems strange that a group Batman had to comes to term with needing to exist, is now run by the most silly villainous villainy villains.

also, why have they replaced John Stewart with Hal Jordan as the default green lantern in the DC animated movies?
Thus ends my long nerd-out

As bad as that movie was, using the first real green lantern made sense if you're making an origin story, but John Stewart is suddenly a background character if he appears at all in recent DC movies/shows

Anyway: Sheen worked as a character because he served as a contrast to the central character. He's not really 'main character' material.

They have a smart character to counter him, but only two smart characters in the entire cast.
The rest are just too silly and have irritating voices.

Did they keep any of the original cast of characters (Cindy, Carl, Libby, etc.) or is it a completely new cast?

There is an alien that LOOKS SUSPICIOUSLY EXACTLY LIKE CARL.
That is all.

Young Justice needs to cut it with the shipping. I just want to see superheroes fight supervillains. I don't want to have to watch "HELLO MEGAN" and stupid teenage romance.
