I saw about half of Firebreather, but I thought the animation ranged from stiff and wooden to so good it could have been motion capture.
Also they just glaze over the fact that a human woman had a baby with a giant kaiju (that's what they call the monsters in the movie, apparently because Japanese is kool.)

I just found out that J.K. Simmons is the voice of White Knight in Gen. Rex.

Many lulz were had.

Personally, I think those shows suck. But to each their own.

Season finale of Sym-Bionic Titan on Friday (I can't believe it either.)

Don't worry, Angie, I watch Superhero Squad too.

You are totally on your own about Battle Force 5 though.

I think last night was the last episode of Regular Show for this year.

I feel I live in the past because I make the effort to stay up and watch old cartoons. Like Samurai Jack, Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, 2 Stupid Dogs, Aaaaah!! Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Kablam!, Invader Zim... not all at once sheesh I'm not obsessed. Just whatever comes on whenever.

Also for not-as-old, I love Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends and Phineas and Ferb. What saddens me is that the finale of the former has not yet aired in my country, and as for the latter, I proudly proclaim their songs to be catchy. The only episode of P&F I didn't like would be the first.

Personally, I can't stand Phineas and Ferb. All the characters are just annoying to me.

Anyway, I'm waiting for a DVD release of the entire Darkwing Duck series.

What's wrong with trying to make everyday the best ever? And the next a million-and-six-times better? :psyduck: I don't see how anyone can hate the titular two. The others, well, maybe there are reasons I can find. I like perspectives so if you'd be so kind as to enumerate why you dislike them I could get a better understanding of more of the fan... uh... not-fan-dom.

I think it's based on how they NEVER get in trouble. Just like typical live action characters on Disney Channel.

Cept animated. It just bugs me.

You do realize that they never understand the things they do are particularly wrong, right? Phineas is even the one to call mom to hurry home and see their project in one episode. But still said project disappears. The group works on a big project only to watch it and make sure it doesn't disappear when mom gets back. Some tomfoolery occurs.
I guess I see what you're coming from. I always thought Kim Possible was boring as a heroine because she defeated her enemies all the time except... well, that one time. But this is a gag show that, in TVTropes terms: lampshades everything they do and subverts them at least once. Oh and they've already delved into the terrible terrible things that happen to Phineas and Ferb if ever they do get "busted" in two episodes.

If it'll help even just a little, some of their writers were the ones in Rocko's Modern Life too, just sayin'.

Just watched the new Sym-Bionic Titan episode. I missed the first half though, so I only saw the second half, but it was so good oh man I loved it. I really hope this series gets a DVD release because there are some episodes I've missed, and since I barely watch TV I keep missing any re-runs that may be airing. ):

I know this is an older show but Dexter's Lab was on today. Love that show, it's almost never on anymore.

Guess what! Today is "Indulge myself by talking about a cartoon few people watch"-day.

Image

This is Grougaloragran. Most people just call him Grougal.

Grougaloragran is the older than some of the gods, and he managed to sleep through a mild apocalypse. He just didn't care.

Also, he occasionally uses his foes to beat his other foes to death.

Image

If you are wondering about the nudity, he is just too busy not giving a fuck. He's got a universe to save through the liberal application of fuck you.

Image

It's understandable they nerfed him for season 2.
