Yes.

If you have you are going to complain about it, we can argue as well.

I beg to differ

If an object is held halfway through a portal, and one end closes, the object remains stuck in the remaining portal, only halfway in conventional reality.

So. Is the remainder buried in the material behind the portal, or somewhere else?

But if the portal we are talking about is like Portal portals, then you move through instantly and there would be virtually nothing to get left stuck in the portal - just halves of you on either side. Either you split and flal apart, or you'd stay in place and still die because the wall suddenly reappeared inside you.
according to the commentary in Portal from the creators, Portal's Portals are designed to push the object inside out before closing so as not to trap it/sever it

Marmaduke is a newspaper comic strip drawn by Brad Anderson from 1954 to the present day. The strip was created by Anderson, with help from Phil Leeming (1955–1962) and later Dorothy Leeming (1963–1969). The strip revolves around the Winslow family and their Great Dane, Marmaduke. The strip on Sundays also has a side feature called "Dog Gone Funny," in which one or more panels are devoted to dog anecdotes submitted by the fans. Anderson, who says he draws on Laurel and Hardy routines for his ideas, received the National Cartoonists Society Newspaper Panel Cartoon Award for the strip in 1978.
