I have a question and you guys will probably think its retarded, but oh well. i tried to make my avatar from one of katie's pictures, and it was the correct size, but it won't let me have it as my avatar! help?

1. Make your avatar
2. Upload it to a free image hosting site, like photobucket
3. Copy and paste just the URL of the image in the 'Link to Offsite Avatar' option
4. ???
5. PROFIT!!!

That erroneous extra text made it difficult for me at the start too - I think it's something to do with the way photobucket organise their data.

There's also an option to copy and paste the direct URL to the image if you use Photobucket. It's right underneath the first URL they put for the image.

AAAAUUUUGGGHHH!!! i'm sorry i must be a complete retard because i made a account onphoto bucket, uploaded the picture , and pasted the URL and it says that the URL contains no files!!!!!!! help? :cry:

oh but i have one more question. im new to forums, (and you can tell lol) , but i want to know how that when you quote someone it comes up in the white box and says above it " so & so wrote: " . because when i push quote it doesnt do that.

You have to click "Quote" on the actual post they made for the name to come up. Clicking "Quote" when you're writing your own post only makes quote come up, without any name around it. You can simply add a name by going [ quote = " Miss StarSeed" ], without all the spaces, obviously.

Example:

You can also change the name of whatever's quoting to whatever you wish.

Also, I've never had that problem with the extra text... That's weird.
