I alvays saw it as an anime due to the art style.

It was a French interpretation of the anime style, similar to how Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American interpretation.

Also do not take the group hate on these shows personally, like you said it is just a matter of taste. But I am with the majority - there are almost no Flash animated North American cartoons that I like, and while I'm not a big fan of French computer animated shows I absolutely love what they can do with Flash, if Wakfu is any example.
6teen, Total Drama, and Johnny Test are Canadian.

Also, I am a fan of Code Lyoko, French computer animation mixed with flash or something.

I like the plot, character devolopment, etc.

Canada is part of the North American continent. Anyway, Code Lyoko had the best theme song. The only thing I didn't like about the show was their foreheads. But I got over it.

The Simpsons have gotten really shite lately.

And I can't believe King of the Hill is over :( all though I will admit I haven't been able to fully watch the last few episodes since they were boring as heck.

I know. My favorite character is Applejack. Her accent and cowboy hat are too cute

My mother was at the New York School of Visual Arts today for an intern fair, looking for art interns to work at Madison Square Garden, and she ended up sitting next to Marvel's table. She struck up conversation and had mentioned I liked comics and was aiming at Illustration, and when they left they gave her a bunch of comics for me.

I thought they were going to be "demo" comics, the kind that have shorts and artworks in them, but they're full-fledged issues. Haven't read any yet, but I'm going to dig into Rescue first. Pepper Pots in Iron Man armor, aw yeah.
