Nickelodeon. Just type in "Legend of Korra" into Google and it's one of the first results.

Also fuck yes Tai Lee style martial artists. Was always fun watching her duel Katara.

Oh wow, they do have the first two episodes. I don't see the third, though - will they be continuously uploading more as they air?

It might be my internet as well, but that is good to know. I don't get Nick in the hotel room so I thought I was going to be at a loss this entire time. Thank you!

I do agree with Xab that Korra's first two episodes didn't have the same immediate conflict that The Last Airbender did, but I think it was able to get away with it; it has such a strong backing from fans, as well as from the quality of the first series, that it could sacrifice a bit of time to world-build (and they did lay some groundwork for future topics such as discrimination and inner-city turmoil along the lines of homelessness and cheddar sharks).

Waiting for the third episode to load, am excited.

Did anybody else see Thundercats today? It was awesome. I was glad to see WilyKit and WilyKat's back-story.

The season finale (I think) of Young Justice was also on. I loved Red Tornado in the episode, but Red Arrow is still my favorite character over all.

Green Lantern was awesome as well. We got some more possible foreshadowing of Yellow Lanterns.

Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man are new tomorrow. In Ultimate Spider-Man, Spidey gets a special "Iron Spider" suit from Iron Man (This suit actually showed up in the comics). In the Avengers, an alien race know as the Kree wants to see if Earth is worthy of being part of the Galactic Empire.

Apparently there's a Free Comic Book Day and this is going to be given away that day in participating comic book stores.

Korra Spoilers: Anyone else think Amon's spiritbending thing is just a bluff? Maybe it's some nice chi-blocking that seems permanent, but it took a whole three seasons of AtLA to build up to the possibility of it and then suddenly this random guy gets the power to do it? I'm not buying it.

Then again, if it turns out to be temporary then when people find out that the bending comes back, Amon's scheme wouldn't exactly hold up too well. Hmm.

Yeah, Adventure Time also has a full comic book series going on. It's pretty awesome. They were fighting the Lich King in the last few issues.

I know, but what gives him the power to do that? The spirits? Really?

It just seems to me his power is more to fool the populace and run the city mafia-style than actual spiritual power. I could be wrong, but I'm still wondering why everyone seemed to accept that he was for real without question.

Maybe for the fact that they can bend one minute but not the next? And he didn't use conventional chi-blocking either. I think he did it exactly the way Aang did during the fight with Ozi.

I don't think the point is really that his power comes from the spirits. He could be lying about that. I'm going to assume his powers are real because that would make him able to confront the Avatar directly, which would make for a really tense atmosphere.

I did see one really cool related theory that says
Amon is working with Koh the Face Stealer, which is how he got his powers. He didn't really lose his face to a firebender, but actually traded it to Koh for the ability to take away bending. He wanted to overthrow all of the nations and neutralize the Avatar, but basically establish himself as leader rather than obtain equality.

I think that would be really neat if it were true or at least related in some way.

Minus the blinding light and crazy cosmic stuff, though. I'm saying maybe it was just temporary, or reversible.

Could be that since he's not a bender he doesn't have to deal with the spirit-corruption or whatever Aang had to overcome to do it. Still, that really seems like the kind of thing only an Avatar can do, and even then it was an incredible feat. How does a non-bender end up with that sort of power? It just seems more likely to me that it's not the full version of that power.

That is an interesting theory Avengifier. The idea of evil spirits wasn't really covered much in the last series, so that would be interesting to see their hand in events, especially since Aang got that same power from a spirit too (I think it counts as a spirit).
