It's good but I find that some episodes are just too filler-y. There're a few episodes that move along the plot followed by a few where nothing much happens, not even any real character development.

I just watched the final episode of Wakfu season 2. Does anyone else feel bad for Quilby?

That jerk deserved everything he got.

I'm not saying he wasn't evil and a huge jerk. But I do understand how he became the person he is and I feel like there should be a different way of handling him. His punishment is just so harsh and lonely.

I guess I could just sort of feel his pain and rejectment.

Wakfu really has the best and most interesting villains.

I agree. Wakfu is only a passable series if you look at the mid-season "filler" episodes. What really gets me every time is the villains, how their plans come together and how their motivations work. I don't think I've seen better villains in any other cartoon, and indeed many other works of fiction period.
