I'm really ashamed of myself that I recognised the genie. It was actually translated at one point, and called Bob in a Bottle. Yes, it was exactly as retarded as it sounds. I used to watch it when I was 5, and am very disappointed with myself

Yep. I was very disappointed to learn that he wouldn't make it into the Europe and US versions, and learning that character-specific themes were out was also displeasing. Hopefully, we won't get generic Capcom Techno or Marvel vs Capcom 2-like music (which is awesome in its own right, but definitely does not fit a fighting game).
Not that the Jap TvC soundtrack was highly awesome, but still. Karas' theme kicked a fair amount of asses in that.

This game is coming out on the 29th of January for me.

Gonna get it the day it comes out because I won't be at work.

So yeah I might be going online for some multiplayer action that day.
