That comic looks like it was made by a sleep depraved person.

Once I spent 4 days and 3 nights without sleeping. It was nonstop partying so I didn't feel tired, only confused and scared. You know these stories about hallucinations caused by lack of sleep? All true. And it's not a couple of hallucinations per day, no sir. By the third night, it is nonstop black figures you see by the corner of your eye, appearing and disappearing every now and then in your field of vision.

Fighting your need to sleep is a nightmare. Your mind and, I swear, time itself play tricks on you. I could swear I was talking to a group of people, but they were long gone. One minute, it is day time. The other, it is night time. Reality bends with your mind. You know why? Because you are dreaming. Your brain needs to dream, and it will do so, asleep or not. You cannot trust anything you see or feel.

That was the scariest darned week of my entire life.

Science says that there is something vibrating at a high enough speed to create a whining noise but instinct says oh god its screaming why

Okay, faggots, it's time for something that's actually scary.

This creature terrorized children's TVs and books years ago. Grown men are still afraid af this.

Oh, I think you know vhat I am talking about.

No, this is not vhat I am talking about. This is merely the main character in the series, Moomin as you English-speaking chaps call it.

Image

No, I am not talking about this guys either.

No, no, no. Vhat I am talking about is far vorse.

I am talking about the Groke.

Wiki wrote:
The Groke... ...is a fictional character in the Moomin world created by Tove Jansson. She appears as a ghostlike hill-shaped body with two cold staring eyes and a wide row of white shiny teeth. In the book Who Will Comfort Toffle?, it is mentioned that she has a tail, but it has never been seen. Wherever she stands, the ground below her freezes and plants and grass die. She leaves a trace of ice and snow when she walks the ground. Anything she touches will freeze and on one instance she froze a camp fire by sitting down on it. She seeks friendship and warmth, but she is declined by everyone and everything, leaving her in her cold cavern on top of the Lonely Mountains. On one occasion in a comic, however, she was hailed as a hero when she, in her constant search for warmth, extinguished a forest wildfire by sitting on it.

I fail to see how this is at all scary
